Opened 10 Aug 1905 as "Alexandra Theatre". 1900 seats. 1910 renamed "King's Theatre". 1928 converted into a cinema. 1955 major interior rebuilding. Reopened 16 Jan 1956 as "Odeon" (1500 seats).
