Built by Boston, Menzies & Morton. Opened 10 Aug 1905 as "Alexandra Theatre". 1900 seats. 1910 renamed "King's Theatre". 1928 converted into a cinema. 1955 major interior rebuilding. Reopened 16 Jan 1956 as "Odeon" (1500 seats). Closed Oct 1969. Demolished in April 1973 in favour of a road and a car park.
