Country: Germany (Deutschland) State: Rheinland-Pfalz City: Worms Location: Festhausstraße / Bahnhofstraße Built 1963-1966 as "Spiel- und Festhaus" by Gernot Heyl with Peter Höbel and C. H. Brankmann on the site of the former Spiel- und Festhaus. Opened 1966 with Mozart's "Don Giovanni". 2008-2011 renovations and addition of a culture and congress centre by gmp (Gerkan, Marg und Partner). Re-opened 29 Jan 2011 as "Das Wormser".
