Opened 1886 as a variety theatre. From 1900 to the 1920s also used as a cinema ("Eden-Biograph"). 1926 right part converted into a beer hall named "Oberbayern". Left part rebuilt and re-opened as "St.-Pauli-Säle"/"Prater", another large restaurant and entertainment venue. Destroyed by bombs in March 1945. [1948 a gas station and the "Esso-Häuser" housing and retail complex were built on the site.]
