Country: Israel City: Tel Aviv Location: 2 Huberman Street / Habimah Square Concert hall, built by Dov Karmi, Zeev Rechter and Yaakov Rechter. Opened 1 Oct 1957 as "Frederic R. Mann Auditorium" with a concert of Artur Rubinstein and the Israel Philharmonic, conducted by Leonard Bernstein. Named in honour of the American business man and patron of the arts, Frederic R. Mann, who helped finance the building. 2412 seats. 2013 renovations. Re-opened 2013 as "Charles Bronfman Auditorium" after another sponsor. Also known as "Heichal HaTarbut" (Culture Palace).
