Also known as "Harry Rickard's Tivoli Theatre". Destroyed by fire in 1899. Subsequently rebuilt. Reopened 12 April 1899. Converted into the "Embassy" cinema in 1929. Closed 1977. Demolished in the 1980s. [The "Tivoli Theatre" in 329 Castlereagh Street is another building, opened 1911 as "Adelphi Theatre", 1916 renamed "Grand Opera House", 1932 renamed "New Tivoli Theatre" (also known as "Tivoli Theatre").
