Opened 22 December 1890 as "Garrick Theatre". 1893 renamed "Tivoli Theatre". Also known as "Harry Rickard's Tivoli Theatre". Destroyed by fire in 1899. Subsequently rebuilt. Reopened 12 April 1899. Converted into the "Embassy" cinema in 1929. Closed 1977. Demolished in the 1980s.
