Opened Oct 1879 on the ground floor of Barton Block (replacing "Barton's Opera House", later "Park Opera House" that had been located on the third floor in the same building and was converted into a ballroom). Destroyed by a fire in Sep 1888. Subsequently rebuilt. Demolished 1925 in favour of a parking lot for the new "Hills Building" (now in the block 301-307 E Fayette Street, since this part of Genesee Street does not exist anymore).
