Reverse Text: "Historic Matthews Opera House, Spearfish, South Dakota. Historic Matthews Opera House, built in 1906, once housed touring shows - minstrels, vaudeville, and Shakespeare. Through the years the 'grandest show place in the state' has been a motion picture theatre, shooting gallery, dance hall, and eventually a pigeon roost. Renovated in 1966, the old Opera House is presently known as Stagecoach Theatre, a Black Hills State College sponsored summer theatre."
