Closed 1964. Subsequently bought by Ruth Hunter and Philip Hunter and converted into a community theatre with 90 seats. Opened as "Pirate Playhouse". In the 1990s renamed "The Old Schoolhouse Theater", "J. Howard Wood Theater" and "Periwinkle Playhouse" and "The Schoolhouse Theater". 2004 again translocated to the Sanibel Museum Historical Village.] Opened 1991 as "Pirate Playhouse", a larger replacement of the theatre of that name located nearby at the time. 180 seats.
