Country: United States of America State: Arizona City: Phoenix Location: 326 West Washington Street Built 1896-1898 by S. E. Patton. Opened 2 Nov 1898 as "Patton's Grand Theatre" with the play "At Gay Coney Island". 1900 renamed "Dorris Opera House" after its new owner E. M. Dorris. Renamed "Elks Theatre" in the early 1910s and "Apache Theatre" in the late 1920s. 1957 renamed "Phoenix Theatre" and used as a cinema. Various rebuildings throughout its history. Closed in the 1960s.
