Built ca. 1894 as a greenhouse for the Royal Poinciana Hotel (the tower remains of that first building on the site). 1922 converted into a dancing pavilion. Later installation of a theatre (250 seats) named "Palm Beach Playhouse", used until 1958 when the nearby Royal Poinciana Playhouse opened. Parts of the building used as a broadcasting studio by WPTV from 1954 to 1971. Various rebuildings. Used as a commercial building.
