Cinema, built 1919 by Thomas W. Lamb. Opened 30 Aug 1919 as "Mark Strand Theatre". 2940 seats. 1953-1959 used by Alfredo Salmaggi's opera company. Closed 1959. Interior demolished; building converted into a glass factory. Ca. 2013 rebuilding. Re-opened 5 Oct 2013 as "BRIC Arts Media House" with an auditorium (240 seats, 400 standing) and exhibition space.
