Theatre on the third floor of "One Astor Plaza", built by Kahn and Jacobs. Opened 13 March 1973 with Harry Tierney's musical "Irene". Named in honour of Sam Minskoff and Sons (Henry H. Minskoff, Jerome Minskoff, Myron Minskoff, and Leo Minskoff), the builders and owners of the high-rise building. 1621 seats. Used for broadway musicals, including "Sunset Boulevard" and (since 2006) "The Lion King".
