Built 1960-1968 replacing the above-ground parts of Pennsylvania Station which continues to operate underground. The complex includes a multi-purpose sports and events arena, also used for large concerts (up to 20000 seats) and the "Hulu Theatre" (2000 to 5600 seats). 1991 renovations.
