Nightclub, opened in the 1920 as "Palais Royale" with the "Moulin Rouge" in the basement. 1942 re-opened as "Latin Quarter". 1969-1978 upstairs room used as a cinema ("Cine Lido", 575 seats), from 1978 as a disco ("22 Steps"), from 1979 as a Broadway theatre ("22 Steps", 1980 renamed "Princess Theatre", 1984 renamed "Latin Quarter"). 1985 re-opened as nightclub "Latin Quarter". Demolished 1989 in favour of a hotel.

[Subsequently, the nightclub first moved to 2551 Broadway at 96th Street, and in 2003 to 511 Lexington Avenue at 48th Street].
