Built 2001-2006 by César Pelli on the site of a former Sears department store. Opened 2006 as "Carnival Center". 2008 renamed after the American businesswoman and philanthropist, Adrienne Arhst (* 1942), a major donor. The complex contains three major halls: Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House (2400 seats), John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall (2200 seats) and Carnival Studio Theater (up to 250 seats). Home to Florida Grand Opera, Miami City Ballet and New World Symphony.
