Theatre and cinema, built 1927 by Thomas W. Lamb for the Loew's Inc. cinema chain. Opened 27 Oct 1927 as "Loew's Midland Theatre". Originally 4100 seats. Closed 1961 and converted into a bowling alley. 1962 re-opened as a cinema named "Saxon Theatre". Closed 1962. Re-opened 1965 as "Midland Theatre". 2006-2008 major renovations. 2016 renamed "Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland" after a corporate sponsor.
