Named in honour of the German-American rocket engineer, Wernher von Braun (1912-1977). 1997 renamed "Von Braun Center". After several extensions, the complex contains six major halls: South Hall (6700 seats), East Hall (1365 seats), North Hall (1200 seats), Propst Arena (6000 seats), Smith Concert Hall (1955 seats), The Playhouse (502 seats).
