Country: United States of America State: Minnesota City: Duluth Location: 211 E Superior Street / 10 N 2nd Avenue East Built 1910 by John E. O. Pridmore, on the former site of the Temple Opera House. Opened 22 Aug 1910 as "Orpheum Theatre" and used for vaudeville. 1929 entrance changed from 2nd Avenue to Superior Street. 1941 major rebuilding by Liebenberg & Kaplan. Re-opened Oct 1941 as "Nor Shor Theatre", and used as a cinema. 1300 seats. Later used as a music venue, then as a nightclub. Closed 2012.
