Built 1891 by Louis Henri Sullivan (of Adler & Sullivan). Opened as "Schiller Theatre", named in honour of the German poet and playwright, Friedrich Schiller (1759-1805). 1898 renamed "Dearborn Theatre". 1903 renamed "Garrick Theatre". Demolished 1960 in favour of a parking garage.
