Built 1891 as a commercial building with a third-floor theatre. Ca. 500 seats. 1902 rebuilding and auditorium extension by a balcony on the fourth floor (total capacity: 884 seats). Site of a disastrous panic after a false shout of "fire" on 26 Aug 1911, leading to 26 deaths. Subsequently closed and converted into apartments.
