Country: United States of America State: New York City: Buffalo Location: Virginia Street / Elmwood Avenue Built 1885 by Louise Bethune as a military drill shed, part of the "74th Armory", the facilites of the 74th New York National Guard Regiment. 1899 converted into a civil convention, concert and multi-purpose hall named "City Convention Hall". 1907 renamed "Elmwood Music Hall" after a new convention hall was opened in the former 65th Armory.
