Built 1921-1922 by Eugene H. Knight as auditorium of the "Birmingham Masonic Temple". 1925 converted into a vaudeville theater, re-opened 27 Apr 1925 as "Loew's Temple Theatre". Later used as a cinema, live theatre and concert venue. Home to the Birmingham Civic Opera and the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Closed 31 Mar 1970. Demolished 1970.
