Built 1925 in Moorish revival and Egyptian revival style as part of the "Yaarab Temple Shrine Mosque" complex. 1929 converted into a theatre and cinema, opened 25 Dec 1929 as "Fox Theatre" with the film "Salute" and a stage show. Closed 1973. 1975 saved from demolition by a non-profit group. Subsequently restored and re-opened as a performing arts centre. The building contains the main hall (4665 seats) and two ballrooms. It still features the original 1929 theatre organ by M. P. Möller (nicknamed "Mighty Mo"), the largest organ built by that company.
