Built 1901 as part of "Luna Park & Palace Amusement Park" (later renamed "Kursaal"), one of the world's first purpose-built amusement parks. The building contained various amusements, a circus and a cinema. Closed 1986. 1998 rebuilt, preserving only the dome and the facades. Re-opened 1998 as a leisure centre containing a bowling alley and a casino.
