Concert hall, built 1993-1996 by RHWL architects. Opened 11 Sep 1996. Named in honour of Francis Egerton, 3rd Duke of Bridgewater (1736-1803), for whom the Bridgewater Canal was built. 2400 seats. Home to the Hallé Orchestra. Primary concert venue of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
