Municipal building, built 1853-1858 by Cuthbert Brodrick, containing a council chamber, offices, a public hall and ceremonial rooms. Currently used mainly as a concert hall, for conferences and as a wedding venue. "Victoria Hall" contains a large pipe organ with 96 stops.
