Country: England, United Kingdom Historic County: Somerset City: Bath Location: Sawclose Opened 1886 as "Pavilion Music Hall". 1895 renamed "Lyric Theatre", 1903 renamed "Palace Theatre". 1930s interior alterations. 1955 converted into a ballroom, 1968 converted into a bingo hall with a small upstairs cinema. Closed 2014. Subsequently partly demolished in favour of a new entertainment complex (opened 2017), with the 1895 facade remaining and the theatre hall used as a casino.
