Country: Russia (Rossiya) Federal District: Central Federal District (Tsentralny Federalny Okrug) Federal Subject: Orlovskaya Oblast City: Oryol (Orel) Location: (Ploshchad Karla Marxa) Built 1799 as a magistrate building. Severely damaged in World War II. 1946-1949 rebuilt by B. V. Antipov and V. V. Ovchinnikov. Named in honour of the Russian writer, Ivan Sergeyevich Turgeniev (1818-1883). Since 1981 used as a youth theatre ("Teatr Yunovo Zritelya").
