Built 1924-1925 by Hans Hopp as an exhibition hall for agricultural machines named "Haus der Technik" (House of Technology) at the "Ostmesse" trade fair. From 1933 to 1945 named "Schlageterhaus" after a German saboteur commemorated by the Nazis as a national hero. One part of the building was used as a cinema named "Kulturfilm-Theater". Severeley damaged in World War II. After the war used as an open-air market. From 2004 major rebuilding into a shopping mall.
