First entertainment venue on the site opened 1920 as "Central Café" (CC), also used as a cabaret. 1929 rebuilding by Anton Eckert, with extension by a variety theatre hall named "Central-Theater". Destroyed by bombs on 19 Feb 1945. [1955 a new cinema named "CC-Filmtheater" opened on the site, later renamed "CC-Kino-Center", closed 2003.]
