Restaurant opened in the late 19th century. 1897 addition of a small event hall, re-opened as "Wendts Tivoli". 1927 addition of a large multi-purpose event hall. 1969 purchased by the municipality of Süderbrarup and renamed "Bürgerhaus". 1990 major rebuilding (maintaining the large hall, but demolishing most of the rest of the complex). Re-opened 1990.
