Cinema, built 1922 as "Ufa-Palast" by converting the former Stuttgart train station (built 1844-1846 by Carl Etzel, rebuilt 1863-1867). 1949 re-opened as "Metropol-Palast". Later renamed "Palast". Re-opened 3 Feb 2002 as "Metropol". Currently the complex contains three cinema halls: Metropol 1 (370 seats), Metropol 2 (240 seats), Metropol 3 (95 seats).
