Built 1913-1914 by Carl Moritz. Opened 16 Sep 1916 with Beethoven's opera "Fidelio" and Heinrich von Kleist's drama "Prinz Friedrich von Homburg". 1968 rebuildings. 2005-2008 rebuilding by Springer Architekten. Re-opened 29 Feb 2008. One of the homes of the "Theater Vorpommern" opera, ballet and drama ensembles.
