Second hall built 1877-1878. Opened 4 Aug 1878 as "Schützenburg". 1937-1938 converted into a theatre, re-opened as "Adolf-Hitler-Halle". 1945 renamed "Stadttheater Solingen", also known as "Stadthalle Solingen". Destroyed by fire on 12/13 Mar 1957.
