Opened 10 Sep 1959 with Richard Wagner's "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg". 794 seats. Originally used by the opera, ballet and drama companies of "Theater Krefeld Mönchengladbach", since Nov 1984 until 1996 only by the drama company. 1996 rented to a private company. Re-opened as musical theatre. Closed in 2000. Demolished in 2012 in favour of the shopping mall "Minto". Link: Wikidata |
