Opened 15 Jan 1978. 1991 additions, re-opened as "Prinzregenten-Theater" after the street where it is located (alluding to the famous Prinzregententheater in München, all named in honour of prince regent Luitpold von Bayern). 1993 addition of a small stage in the foyer, 1997 of a studio theatre "Prinzenrolle" in the adjacent building. Used for performances in the local Palatinate German dialect. |
