Cinema and amusement palace, built 1929 by Rudolf Fränkel as part of the "Gartenstadt Atlantic" development. Opened 25 Dec 1929 as "Lichtburg". From 1931 operated by Karl Wolfssohn. 1939 dispossessed ("arianyzed") by the Nazi government. Subsequently operated as a private opera theatre by Walter Kirchhoff. Severely damaged by warfare in 1945. Reopened as "Corso-Theater" on 23 Dec 1947. Used as an operetta theatre and as a cienma. Closed 1962. Demolished 1970.
