Opened 1891 as "Nouveau-Théâtre". 1906-1919 named "Théâtre Réjane" after the actress Réjane (1856-1920) who bought the theatre in 1905. 1955 renamed "Théâtre Moderne", later "Petit Théâtre de Paris" and "Théâtre de Paris".
