Municipal theatre, built 1989-1992 by Claude Parent on the former site of the abbatoirs of Vaugirard, replacing a theatre tent used since 1979. Opened 7 Jan 1992 as "Théâtre Silvia Montfort" with Jean Anouilh's "La Valse des Toréadors". Later renamed "Le Montfort". Named after the French actress and theatre director, Silvia Montfort (1923-1991). 456 seats.
