Opened 15 Feb 1866 as "Théâtre des Délassements-Comiques", the fourth Paris theatre of that name. Shortly after renamed "Théâtre du Prince Eugène". 1867 again renamed "Théâtre des Délassements-Comiques". Destroyed by a fire in May 1871 in the last days of the Paris Commune.
