Originally a church (Église Saint-Rémy-au-Velours), used as an events hall since 1791. Church tower demolished in 1795. 1804-1807 converted into a theatre. Demolished in World War I. Rebuilt 1919-1925. Closed 1965. 1976-1979 converted into office space for the neighbouring mayor's offices.
