Open-air theatre, opened 22 June 1957 with Corneille's play "Le Cid". Formerly known as "Théâtre des Tuilleries-Courvaudon", after the columns in the stage and entrance areas that are remains of the Palais des Tuilieries in Paris (destroyed in 1871 during the Paris Commune). Until 1975, site of the Festival Pierre et Thomas Corneille. Later used by a rock festival.
