Performing arts and convention centre, built 1977-1982 by Edvard Ravnikar. Named "Kulturni Dom Ivana Cankarja" (later shortened to "Cankarjev Dom") in honour of the Slovene writer and political activist, Ivan Cankar (1876-1918). The complex contains the main hall "Gallusova Dvorana" with 1545 seats, three smaller halls (562, 253 and 212 seats) as well as various smaller convention rooms.
