Multi-purpose arena, used for sports and cultural events. Built by Berg Arkitektkontor AB. Opened 19 Feb 1989 as "Stockholm Globe Arena". 2009 renamed "Ericsson Globe" after a sponsor. 2021 renamed "Avicii Arena" after the Swedish musician and DJ, Acivii (1989-2018). Usually referred to simply as "Globen" [Globe] throughout its history. Up to 16,000 seats.
