[Two prior establishments named "Moulin Rouge" located in Weihburggasse 11 (ca. 1911) and in Weihburggasse 9 (ca. 1920-1938) have no connection to this "Moulin Rouge".]
Possibly built in 1909 as an annexe to a residential building. Used as cabaret "Schiefe Laterne" during World War II. After 1945 operated as "Moulin Rouge" nightclub and cabaret. 240 seats. Closed in the 1990s. Used as an event venue until 2011. Since 2012 used as a restaurant.
