Concert hall and congress centre, built 1969-1973 by Heikki Siren (acoustics consultants: Friedrich Bruckmayer, Judith Lang, and Walter Reichardt). Named in honour of the Austrian composer, Anton Bruckner (1824-1896). Opened 23 March 1974 with Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 (played by the Wiener Philharmoniker under Herbert von Karajan). Home to the Bruckner-Orchester Linz. The complex includes three halls with 1420 seats, 352 and 150 seats respectively.
