Built 1939-1940 by William H. Lee as "Hunt's Casino Theatre" at the site of a former theatre of that name (destroyed by fire in 1939). Opened 11 Apr 1940. Converted in to a gaming arcade in the 1980s, later used as a laser tag arena. Demolished 1999.

Reverse Text: "Casino Theater, Wildwood, New Jersey. With its vivid blue ceramic tile and shiplike demeanor, the 1250-seat movie house was an appropriate part of this seaside resort. The Casino Theater opened in 1939, showing Shirley Temple in The Blue Bird, and continued showing movies until the early 1980s."
