Built 1960 by Harry Weese as "Arena Stage" for the regional theatre company of that name. 2008-2010 major renovation and rebuilding by Bing Thom Architects. Re-opened as "Mead Center for American Theater", still used by the "Arena Stage" company. The complex contains three halls: Fichandler Stage (680 seats), Kreeger Theater (514 seats) and Kogod Cradle (200 seats).
