Built 1894-1895 by Otto Strack for the brewing magnate Frederick Pabst, on the site of the former "Stadt-Theater". Opened 9 Nov 1895. 1928 renovations. From 1969 operated as a performing arts center by the city of Milwaukee. 1976 and 2000 renovations. 1339 seats.
