Opened 26 July 1969 as "Milwaukee Performing Arts Center". 1994 renamed "Marcus Performing Arts Center" in honour of Ben and Ceil after a large donation by the Marcus Corporation, a theatre and hotel operator. Home to Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Florentine Opera, Milwaukee Ballet and other local organizations.
